Privacy policy

I keep this short and honest because privacy law is real but most policies are written to confuse you instead of inform you. Here is the actual deal.

WHAT I COLLECT

When you place an order: your name, shipping address, billing address, email, phone, and the items you bought. Your payment card details go to my payment processor (Stripe or Shopify Payments), not to me. I never see or store your full card number.

When you sign up for emails: your email address and, optionally, your name.

When you visit this site: standard analytics data (pages you viewed, your general location by city, the device and browser you used). I use Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-WEDESE48TR) for this. You can opt out via your browser settings or Google's opt-out tool.

WHAT I USE IT FOR

Fulfilling your order and updating you about it. Sending you marketing emails ONLY if you opted in. Improving the site and the products. Tax and accounting records (legally required). Preventing fraud.

WHO I SHARE IT WITH

My payment processor (Stripe, Shopify Payments) to charge your card. My fulfillment partners (Amazon KDP for books, Printful for apparel) to ship your stuff. My email platform (Klaviyo) if you opted in. Government agencies only if legally required.

I do not sell your data. Ever. To anyone. Full stop.

YOUR RIGHTS

You can ask me to show you the data I have on you, correct it, or delete it. Email privacy@jeremybarker.com and I will respond within 30 days. This applies whether you are in the US, EU (GDPR), or California (CCPA).

You can unsubscribe from any marketing email by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any email I send.
